Kidlington moved up to second in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division with a convincing 3-1 win over Bracknell Town at Yarnton Road.

Lewis Coyle fired Kidlington in front with a fierce low shot from just outside the box in the 43rd minute.

Tommy Castle added a second just before half-time, and top scorer Ryan Curtin netted No 3 in the 75th minute after some brilliant wing play from substitute Rob Johnson.

Shane Cooper-Clark, the league’s leading scorer, pulled one back late on, but by then Kidlington, who signed Julian McCalmon from Abingdon United after the game, had wrapped up the points.

Oxford City Nomads were denied victory by a last-minute equaliser in a 3-3 draw at home to Binfield.

Nomads had trailed 2-0 to strikes from Alex Lewis and Ian Davies, before Louis Joyce (2) and John Rixon put them ahead.

However, Adam Dickins levelled for Binfield in the 90th minute.

Milton United won 2-1 at home to Wootton Bassett Town.

Second-half goals from Pat Howe and a first for the club for Jack Daley put Milton in charge, before Dan Bailey’s 88th-minute header set up a frantic finish.

Easington Sports went top of Division 1 East with a 2-1 win at home to Didcot Town Res.

Matt Keenan and Craig Pearman struck inside five second-half minutes for Easington, before Lewis Wilcox pulled one back late on.

Sean Moore grabbed an 89th-minute winner to give Henley Town a 3-2 victory at home to morning leaders Brackley Town Development.

Warren Baxter and Moore’s first gave Henley a 2-0 half-time lead, with Henry Jackson scoring for Brackley in the 37th and 88th minutes.

Old Woodstock Town slipped to a 2-1 defeat at home to Woodley Town.

Lemar Maycock’s brace either side of half-time put Woodley in charge, before Jay Heap pulled one back.

North Leigh United won 3-2 at bottom club Letcombe in Division 1 West.

Lloyd Lewis, who scored with John Hanson lying on the pitch with a head injury, Elliott Bryant and a Jon Hanson own goal put North Leigh 3-0 up.

Hanson pulled one back with a header, before Lewis was sent off for foul and abusive language to the referee. Paul Farrell got Letcombe’s second.

Wantage Town Res went down 4-2 at Purton.

Steve Davies, Richie Saunders, a Dave Gee penalty and Ben Carter made up the hosts’ tally, with a Rocky Whiting penalty and Sam Barber getting Wantage’s goals.

Clanfield were held to a 1-1 draw at Tytherington Rocks.

James Fleming’s seventh-minute opener for Clanfield was cancelled out by Abdenour Amraoui early in the second half.
