FOOTBALL: Wantage can clinch title tonight
Wantage Town can clinch the Uhlsport Hellenic League tonight after their match away to Abingdon Town was given the go-ahead.
There had been concerns that the Culham Road pitch would be unplayable after recent heavy rain, but Abingdon contacted Wantage this morning to declare that the match was on.
A victory over bottom club Abingdon Town would enable Wantage to pip Ardley United for the title.
