A LATE, late goal from Pablo Haysham gave Didcot Town a 2-1 victory at Evesham in Division 1 South & West of the Calor League last night.
After a goalless first half, John Mills put the visitors ahead on the hour.
Evesham looked to have snatched a point when Richard Mansell scored in the last minute, only for Haysham to grab an injury-time winner and move Didcot further away from the relegation zone.
North Leigh also picked up maximum points with a 1-0 victory at home to Thatcham Town.
The Millers dominated much of the play, but lacked a cutting edge and their final pass often went astray.
And when they did create a clear-cut opportunity, they were denied by goalkeeper Aaron Bufton, who had a fine game.
The only goal came on 80 minutes when substitute Conor McDonagh nipped in to intercept a headed backpass from a defender and slotted the ball past Bufton.
Banbury United travel to Cambridge City in the Calor League Premier Division tonight.
