Lewis Brownhill hit a hat-trick as Kidlington were given a scare at Bletchingdon before winning 6-3 after extra time in the Oxfordshire Cup third round.
Bletchingdon, of the Oxfordshire Senior League, fought back from 2-0 down as the tie finished 3-3 at the end of normal time.
Tommy Castle, Charlie Cassatari and Dan Chillington were also on target for the Uhlsport Hellenic League visitors, with Todd Parker-Hunt, Ben Foster and Richard Wells the Bletchingdon scorers.
Thame United also found it hard going against Senior League opposition with Louis Cordice’s first-half penalty giving them a 1-0 win over Freeland at the ASM Stadium.
Cordice calmly dispatched the spot-kick after he had been brought down to book the Hellenic League outfit a home quarter-final against Oxford United.
