AFC Hinksey’s new striker Jack Dunmall scored a hat-trick as they thrashed Uhlsport Hellenic League Division 1 West rivals Carterton 10-0 at their new Abingdon Town home on Saturday.
Hinksey went ahead when Dunmall cut the ball back for Anaclet Odhiambo to dink in.
The hosts doubled their lead when Denel Thomas headed in Ryan Curtin’s corner.
Carterton were still reeling when Jelroy Constant outpaced the defence for 3-0.
Hinksey grabbed a fourth through Curtin from the penalty spot.
After the break, Curtin smashed in No 5 after a fine cut-back from Odhiambo.
Constant made it 6-0 for his double with a neat finish.
Dunmall opened his account, firing in the rebound after his penalty was saved.
He then completed his treble with two quick strikes. Paul Spittle completed the rout with Hinksey’s tenth.
A late winner from Matt Kimani saw Thame United a slip to a 3-2 defeat against Aylesbury United at the ASM Stadium on Saturday.
A header from Jack Wood and a Dean Allen strike appeared to put the visitors in control.
But goals from Ben Connelly and Niall Hodgkins brought the hosts level.
However, Kimani struck five minutes with the winner.
