FOOTBALL: Alder in six-goal bonanza

JAZZMIN Alder smashed a six-timer in Tower Hill Vixens’ 7-3 home win over Kennington in the Under 16 League.

Megan Rockett also netted, with Jessica Wild hitting a hat-trick for Kennington.

Jennifer Dingwall bagged a brace as St Edmunds won 4-0 at home to Didcot Casuals.

Meggie Crawford and Sophie Tatford also netted.

Under 14

Beth Dutton hit a hat-trick in Bardwell’s 5-0 win at Carterton.

Siobhan Siggers and Ffion Phillips completed Bardwell’s tally.

Didcot Casuals shared the goals around in a 4-1 home win over Swindon Town.

Becca Cox, Katie Richardson, Becci Bostock and Ailie Lynn were the Didcot scorers, with Meghan Larkin replying. Emily Young was another hat-trick heroine as Kidlington ran out 5-0 winners at home to Summertown Stars.

Zoe Chung and Rosie McCabe completed the five-star show.

Stonesfield had the better of their 0-0 draw at Kingham All Blacks, but were unable to break the deadlock.

Under 13

Abi Haynes bagged a brace in Kidlington’s 4-3 win at Wantage.

Kylie Pearson and Milly Simmonds also netted, with Ella Joyce (2) and Tilly Breakspear the Wantage scorers.

Bloxham slipped to a 5-0 defeat at home to Swindon Spitfires.

Abbi Knights hit a hat-trick, with Katie Donovan and Hannah Pearce also netting.

Under 12

Taya McCaumon fired a four-timer in Kidlington’s 9-1 win at Tower Hill Reds.

Eva Wallace (2), Molly Wiggins (2) and Emily Barber completed their tally, with Annie Dennis replying.

Bethany Ridgeway’s cool finish midway through the second half gave Didcot Casuals a 1-0 home win over Brackley Town.

Under 11

Kidlington stormed to a 15-0 win at Thame.

Polly Hipkiss led the way with a four-timer. Lauren Smith and Danielle Glover hit hat-tricks, with Emily Keal and Sophie Wyatt bagging braces and Lily Tyrrell also netting.

Sophie Luchford’s first-half strike gave Crowmarsh a 1-0 win at Tower Hill.

Under 10

Hermione Jewell’s hat-trick gave Summertown Stars a 3-0 win at Stonesfield.

Tower Hill Vixens won 2-1 at home to Wantage. Sinead Newman and Millie Cookson scored for the victors, with Olivia Day reducing the deficit.
