Luke Ingram turned on a five-star display as Wootton & Dry Sandford demolished hosts Childrey United 8-1 in their North Berks League Division 1 clash.

In addition to Ingram’s nap hand, Tom Cooke (2) and Chris Potter scored for Wootton, with Tom Weeks replying for the losers.

Berinsfield, who thumped Sutton Courtenay 13-1 last week, came back down to earth with a bump, as they suffered a 2-1 setback at Harwell International.

Kris Gray and Wayne Robins scored Harwell’s goals, with the prolific David Murphy finding the net for Berinsfield. Reigning champions Cro-wmarsh Gifford also lost on the road as Adam Green-away’s solitary strike earned Saxton Rovers a 1-0 home victory.

Lewis Monahan, Ryan Scott and Richard Taylor were all on the scoresheet in Long Wittenham Ath-letic’s 3-0 home win over Didcot Casuals. Paul Moran (2) and Luke Bennett netted for Sutton Courtenay, but it was in vain in a 4-3 defeat at home to AFC Wallingford, for whom Alex Stanila, James Purdue, Connor Mattimore and Mike Littleworth scored.

Coleshill United went goal crazy in Division 2, as they hammered Marcham 11-0. Shane Blake and Richard Evans grabbed four goals apiece, while Jamie Hopgood clai-med two and Mark Simpkins also scored in the rout. Jack Lester bagged a brace as Dorchester eased to a 4-1 win at home to Steventon.

Joe Dixon and Ross Lyons efforts were their other marksmen, with Kieran Coc-hrane netting for Steventon.

Two goals from Dan Cox and a James Clarke strike gave Abingdon United Res a 3-0 win at Benson Lions.

Damien Harris helped himself to a hat-trick for Lambourn Sports Res in their 5-3 victory away at Ardington & Lockinge.

Steve Rackman and Kee-nan Dundas scored their other two goals with Chris Hogan, Jamie Clarke and Jamie Wilkins replying.

Wantage Town A started their campaign off in style with a 7-3 home win over Drayton, with Mark Reid hitting a four-timer.

Kevin Kogel , with a brace, and a David Stapleton strike completed Drayton’s tally.

James Beard and Joshua Ward bagged a brace apiece as Childrey United won 6-0 at East Hendred Res.

Ashley Blackwell and Vaughan Just were their other marksmen.

Patrick Walsh scored a hat-trick for Milton United Res in their 5-2 home win against Hagbourne United.

Tom Harris and Jack Alder got their others, with Matt Chomin and Mason Churton replying.
