Kidlington Old Boys reached the Ben Turner Cup final after they edged to a 4-3 win against Oxford University Press in a seven-goal thriller, writes Brian Kirk.

Trailing 2-0 to goals from Kane Adams and Tony Skinner, OUP hit back to lead through a Ryan Carter double and a Matthew Spooner strike.

However, Kristian Jones levelled, with Daniel Jones netting the winner as Kidlington set up a clash with Bletchingdon in the final.

Todd Parker-Hunt and Richard Wells hit doubles as Bletchingdon beat Middleton Cheney 5-2 in the other semi.

Andy White got their other goal, with Paul Connelly and Andy Buckingham on target for Middleton.

Meanwhile, in the Premier Division, Freeland defeated Stonesfield 2-0, thanks to goals from Tom McCudden and Joe Wick.

Aston Shaw and Jelroy Constant bagged a brace apiece as Garsington thrashed Enstone 8-1.

Jay Morris, Alex Fasoranth, Liam O’Callagan and Tyrone Brackett were their other marksmen, with James Watkins replying for Enstone.

A brace from Luis McGillycuddy saw Mansfield Road to a 3-2 comeback win at ten-man Kennington United.

Stephen Lewis converted a Stuart Wheeler cross to put Kennington ahead.

McGillcuddy levelled after firing past Nick Hill in the Kennington goal.

Lewis netted his second after Hill parried Wheeler’s shot to restore the hosts’ lead.

On the hour mark, Kennington were reduced to ten men when Ryan Smith was sent off for a high challenge.

Mike Cave then cut in from the right before slotting home the equaliser.

McGillycuddy then completed his brace late on to give Mansfield victory.

Broughton & North Newington fought back to draw 2-2 at home to Northway in Division 1.

Goals from Anthony Simpson and Kyle Pullen saw Northway take a 2-0 lead. But strikes from Andy Robey and Laurence Caro saw Broughton level.

Mark Bartrum, Dan Buckley, Adam Mercer and Rob Muddle found the net for Slade Farm United Res as they beat Broughton Res 4-1 in Division 2.

Gary Beedom replied for Broughton.

Adie Way scored a hat-trick as ten-man Adderbury Park Res thrashed Garsington Res 7-1.

Junior Howards (2), Toby Hone and Scott Fuller completed the rout, with Darren Smith netted for Garsington.

Adderbury were reduced to ten men when keeper Liam Shea was sent off for a foul. But stand-in keeper Joe Davies saved the resulting penalty.

Charlton United Res let slip the lead as they lost 3-1 at home to Yarnton Res.

Richie Knight lobbed the hosts ahead, only for Wayne Smith (2) and Diego Rocha to snatch it for Yarnton.
