CROPREDY went four points clear at the top of the Oxfordshire Senior League after Chris Horn’s treble led them to a 6-1 Premier Division victory at home to Marston Saints.
Horn opened the scoring following an assist from Dan Watkin, who made it 2-0 with a precise free-kick.
Marston Saints replied in the 35th minute through Daniel Smith.
But the hosts dominated the second half as Ryan Carter shot into the top corner to make it 3-1 before Horn completed his hat-trick with a lofted shot and then a header.
Carter scored No 6 with a clinical finish.
Launton Sports were indebted to a great save from stand-in keeper Neil Tattersall, which earned them a 0-0 draw at Charlton United.
l LAUNTON United Res recovered from 2-0 and 3-1 down to beat visitors Marston Saints Res 4-3 in the third round of the Oxfordshire Intermediate Cup.
Nick Neal scored a brace for the hosts, whose other goals came from Johnny Moore and Chris Schooling.
