OXFORDSHIRE’S hugely successful youth team came together for the final time to celebrate three memorable seasons.

The squad, coached by Rob Tutton and Paul Mulvany, reached the last four of the FA County Youth Cup last season as an under 18 side, going one step further than their efforts a year earlier.

They also won the South West Counties Youth league at under 17 level, following their league and cup double in the Midland Counties Youth League as under 16s in 2014/15.

Among the dozen boys to be awarded county caps in the past two seasons is Horatio Hirst, who signed a professional deal with Sheffield United last year.

Jack Tutton received special recognition for playing a record 26 games – a total unlikely to be repeated, with the county no longer running an under 16 side.
