CHAMPIONS Hanborough wrapped up their league season in style as they thrashed relegated Eynsham SSC 8-1 in the Premier Division, writes HARRY ROSE.

Ian Steele, Herbie Hamilton and Jack Morton bagged doubles for Hanborough, with Craig Johnson and Arron Hobley also on target.

Ashley Bowerman scored Eynsham’s consolation goal.

Minster Lovell lost an end-of-season thriller 7-5 against Carterton Town A.

Olly Bush and Chris Herbert both hit doubles for Carterton, with Tommy Burns, Tomasz Mazur and Gaz Nicholson also on target. Seb White (3) and Sam Wright (2) replied.

In Division 2, Jamie Austin scored as Hailey Res edged out Spartan Rangers Res 1-0.

Wootton emerged with a 9-4 victory against Bourton in a 13-goal thriller in Division 3 to send Bourton down.

Lee Spencer struck four, while Michael Steers (2), Jamie Hutton, Karl Guschtscha and Mark Grisbrooke were also on the mark.

Bourton replied through Carl Parker (3) and a Jay Mosson strike.

In Division 4, Charlbury Town Res and FC Hollybush drew 2-2.

John Bignell and Paul Dray netted for Hollybush, with Mark Clifton and Mark Goode replying.
