BERINSFIELD wrapped up the North Berks League Division 1 title as they came away from Burghclere with a 5-3 victory, writes RICHARD UNDERWOOD.
Two goals from Mark Ingram led the way, with Brian Rawlings, Max Palmer and Luke Saunders also finding the target as Berinsfield regained the title they last won in 2014/15.
A well-taken Callum Bowler goal gave Long Wittenham a 1-0 victory over Kintbury, a result which sees the losers finish the season in fourth.
In Division 2, Steventon ended their campaign with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Westminster.
Their goals came from Joe Couchman and Dave Johns, while Jason Hillis replied for the visitors.
Stanford Res drew 3-3 with Burghclere Res, denying their rivals the chance to move second in Division 4.
Alistair Baillie (2) and Josh Matthews hit the target for the hosts, with Ryan Bradbury, Kane Harding and Tyrun Mayall replying for Burghclere.
Dorchester Res went down 2-1 to Lambourn Res.
Shaun Randall and Joe Choules were on the mark, with Dorchester hitting back through Joe Marriott.
