NORTH Leigh boss John Brough welcomes back several key players as his side attempt to pull off an Emirates FA Cup upset tomorrow.

Vanarama National League South side Weston-super-Mare visit Eynsham Park in the second qualifying round, but come up against a Millers side boosted by the return of captain Stuart Hole and forward Aaron Woodley.

Callum McNish and top-scorer Jamie Cook could also return after recovering from hamstring injuries.

But after a run of five games unbeaten, Brough is reluctant to ring the changes.

“Just because they’re key players it doesn’t necessarily mean they will come straight back in,” he said.

“If Jamie Cook hadn’t got injured I believe he would be into double figures by now, but his absence has meant chances for Lance Williams and George Seacole and they’ve both done really well.

“Even without those big players, we have the quality in this side to still be able to get results.”

Oxford City make their second trip to Bath City in the space of ten days – and general manager Justin Merritt is hoping for a repeat.

City’s shock 3-1 league victory at Twerton Park last week was just their second success this season and Merritt feels it marked a turning point for his struggling side.

He said: “Our last three performances have been a massive step forward.

“We’ve shown that we’re capable of beating them, but that game is done and gone.

“I think the pressure is on them to get the result, because they’ll be looking to put things right.

“This is a totally difficult game and a tough challenge.

“But if everything comes together like it did last time, I see no reason why we couldn’t get a result again.”

The suspended James Roberts is City’s only absentee, with Lee Henderson and Shaun MacAuley both hopeful of returning from injury.

Banbury United boss Mike Ford is seeking more of the same as his side travel to Cirencester Town.

The Puritans are unbeaten since they defeated Dorchester Town 3-0 in the previous round, but Ford is keen to ensure his side continue to show the same application.

He said: “When the draw came out my thoughts were that, being another team in our division away from home, it will be a similar game to the previous round.

“We have to make sure we go about our business in the same manner and hopefully get a similar result.”

Midfielder Marvin Martin is cup-tied, but Banbury welcome back Zac McEachran, Jack Self and Mark Janes.
