KIDLINGTON will make their Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 Central debut away to Royston Town on August 6.

The Greens earned promotion after being crowned Uhlsport Hellenic League champions last season and will begin their maiden campaign with a tough trip to last season’s runners-up.

Yarnton Road will host its first Southern League fixture the following Tuesday, August 9, when Hanwell Town visit.

Banbury United mark their return to the Premier Division with a trip to Basingstoke Town, relegated from Vanarama National League South last season.

In Division 1 South & West, Didcot Town open their campaign at home to Swindon Supermarine and Wantage Town entertain Paulton Rovers, while John Brough’s first match as North Leigh manager is away to Bridgwater Town.

His first home match in charge is a local derby against Wantage Town on Tuesday August 9, while Didcot are the visitors in the first round of the Challenge Cup on October 4.

Wantage host rivals Didcot on Monday, August 29, before making the return trip on Boxing Day.
