JOHNNY Mullins is a major injury doubt for Oxford United this weekend, but otherwise worries over the squad's fitness have significantly decreased.
Michael Appleton's side have had to cope with a host of players affected by injury and illness in the previous three games.
Mullins has picked up a new problem, twisting an ankle in training earlier this week which makes the centre back a doubt for Saturday's trip to Carlisle United.
Kemar Roofe's ankle injury is not completely solved, but the 26-goal forward was due to train today in a session held at the Kassam Stadium.
John Lundstram, Joe Skarz, Jordan Bowery and Sam Long were also expected in the session after overcoming issues.
Appleton, United's head coach, said: "We’re in a place where it looks a bit healthier than last week."
