SUMMERTOWN Stars surrendered a four-goal lead and their 100 per cent record in the Oxford City FA Premier Division as they were held to a 4-4 draw at home by Zubry.

Charlie Rundle, Ola Abiola, Charles Appiah and Ben Williams gave Stars a 4-0 lead at the break, but a stunning fightback saw Zubry claim a hard-fought point to maintain their unbeaten record, hitting back through Tomasz Samoluk (2), Sebastian Cielieski and Michal Filipowicz.

Otis Woodward struck four times to help pacesetters Chequers to a 7-2 win at St Ebbes Headington, alongside a David Jennings brace and Craig Dean’s goal.

Stuart Rainey and Ben Dyer scored in vain for the hosts.

Strikes from Lewis Moss, Luke Moss, Sid Mobbs and Paul Gray gave Fairview a 4-2 win over Brookes University, for whom Adam Wynnel and Phil Morgan scored.

Kyle Moss’s penalty for Wheatley Youth was too late in a 2-1 defeat to North Oxford Conservative Club, for whom Sharman Davis netted twice.
