ANACLET Odhiambo scored two late goals as Kidlington secured a 4-2 victory at Brimscombe & Thrupp in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division.

The visitors were 2-0 up at the break after Tommy Castle’s penalty and a Lewis Brownhill effort.

However, Brimscombe’s Ben Deakin reduced the deficit on the hour, before substitute Simon Clarke levelled.

Kidlington recovered and Odhiambo fired them ahead after 83 minutes, before stroking home a second.

Ardley United ended their winless start with a 1-0 victory over Bracknell.

Shane Cooper-Clarke hit the bar for the hosts in the first half, but Ardley had the better of the play after the break and scored what turned out to be the winner on 66 minutes.

Chris Jackson headed a corner against the bar and Andy Prescott reacted first to fire home.

Abingdon United are rooted to the bottom after a 2-1 defeat to Tuffley Rovers.

Jack Ross headed United ahead, but Rovers equalised mid way through the second half with Ashley Davis firing past debutant Tom Plum.

And moments later Anthony Herrin nodded home.

Declan Sheppard, John Garey and a Jack Hamblin own goal helped North Leigh United to a 3-1 win over Letcombe in Division 1 West.
