Manager Les Taylor hopes Oxford United Women can continue their positive run tomorrow when they host London Bees in FA Women’s Super League 2 at Abingdon United (2), writes MATTHEW BRUCE.
The U’s are unbeaten in their last two matches after a 2-2 draw at promotionchasing Reading and a 1-0 victory over Durham last weekend, making it seven points from their first six games.
This stage last season, Oxford were still winless and Taylor feels the improvement has been immense.
“We have been far more consistent this time around,” he said. “It took us a little while to find our feet, but I think we look as though that year’s extra experience has really helped.

“We have carried on the form we showed at the end of last year and I have been delighted with the attitude the players have shown and the way we have played.”
The visitors are looking for their first win of the season and Taylor warned his side: “ Our attitude will need to be spot-on if we want another win.”
