FOOTBALL: Oxford City make it a hat-trick of titles
Oxford City Nomads Development thrashed Holyport Res 6-2 in the Hellenic League Chairman’s Cup final at Carterton to make it a treble.
Liam Marshall (2), Liam Palfreeman (2), Jordan Jennings and Tom Moore sealed it. Paul Rake (2) replied.
It goes alongside their Division 2 West and Oxfordshire Intermediate Cup trophies.
Oxford City beat Sandhurst Town 4-2 on penalties to claim the Nerf Junior Premier League Under 16 League Cup title in Newport after it ended 1-1 after extra time.
Cameron Hollick had put City ahead, but Sandhurst hit back for extra time.
City scored all their kicks, with keeper Joe Whittington saving and also scoring from the spot.
