CLACTON’S Sho Shin Do Toyakwai Shotokan Karate Club held their quarterly grading.
Selbie Schofield gained his green belt, with new student Kieran O’Brien achieving his red belt.
Gill Wollmer, having watched her two sons gain their black belts at the club, has decided to start working towards getting one of her own and was awarded her red belt.
The club train from 6pm on Tuesdays and 5.30pm on Fridays, at Clacton Leisure Centre.
They welcome new members from the age of six.
New members of all ages and abilities are welcome and the club teaches a mix of traditional karate, sport karate and self-defence.
