A former West Ham footballer will open a soccer school during May's half term holiday.

Jack Collison, 26, is battling back to full fitness and hopes to be able to provide a fun, safe and inclusive environment where kids of all abilities can improve their footballing ability.

Jack says ‘I just thought it would be great to set it up.

"I know how fantastic it was for me as a youngster to go to something like that.

"They have the opportunity to get trained by ex-pros and I do as much as I can.

"I have David Blackmore, an ex-West Ham academy goalkeeper for specialist goalkeeper training and My other coaches are at UEFA B level.

"We have a great product but our number one aim is for the kids to enjoy their football."

Jack takes a hands on approach to the school and will be in attendance at the camps but he still harbours the ambition of playing professional football next season with his injury problems behind him.

Jack’s connections at West Ham mean there will be special guests at the soccer camps with loads of great give aways and prizes to be won.

The school is launching in Essex at Shenfield School for a two day Half- Term soccer camp.

The dates are 26th and 27th of May between 10am 3pm.

Cost £50 for two days. Please contact damian@jackcollisonsoccerschool.com for more information or visit www.jackcollisonsoccerschool.com to book now. Places limited.
