Anything but an unlikely win of more than 17 goals in their final game of the season would deny Carterton Town A – who have a three-point lead – becoming champions.
Victory over Charlbury extended Witney’s unbeaten run to 14 games, thanks to goals from Kevin Davies, Tony McLemen and Wayne Moscrop.
Craig McCallum (2) hit back.
In Division 1, an Andy Fleet strike was enough to secure the three points for Chadlington in a 1-0 victory away to Hailey Res.
Lee Keyes hit a hat-trick in Carterton Rangers’ 3-2 win at Bampton United in Division 2.
