NORTH Leigh manager Mark Gee has been impressed by his side’s young stars after granting several an opportunity in recent weeks.

The Millers have fielded the likes of striker Jacob Hughes and defender Rory LinfordPill in the latter stages of the campaign and Gee said they have excelled.

“We’ve used the last few weeks to give a few of them a chance and they’ve done really well,” he said.

“We wanted to see whether they were up to playing at this level, which they are.

“They’ve definitely got the ability, so it’s just a question of how much they want it.”

Several are likely to feature tomorrow when North Leigh host Sholing in Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West.

Andy Caton returns after missing last weekend’s 2-2 draw with Shortwood United due to concussion.

Didcot Town are looking to banish the disappointment of last week’s 5-1 mauling at home to Evesham United as they travel to Swindon Supermarine.

The defeat ended their playoff hopes, but joint-manager Ian Concannon said they won’t ease off.

“Our season isn’t finished yet,” he said.

“We’ve still got two games to play and we’re fully focused on those.

“We want to make sure we finish sixth.”

Defender Matt Woodley is unavailable, while Jimmy Deabill is a doubt (back).

Elsewhere, Wantage Town entertain Wimborne Town.
