Vale of White Horse Schools became the first association to draw all four of their matches in the 28-year history of the ESFA Under 14 Isle of Wight Festival.

They opened with a 1-1 draw against North Somerset at Brading FC.

James Stewart turned home Drew Chester’s low cross to give dominant Vale the lead soon after half-time, but Tyrell Squire equalised from a rare North Somerset attack.

Vale twice came from behind as they produced their best performance to draw 2-2 with a talented and physical Tameside team at Shanklin FC.

Tameside took the lead after 15 minutes, but Chris Mortimore equalised before Tameside regained the lead on the stroke of half time with a brilliant individual goal.

Vale completed their programme with a fourth draw in a 1-1 scoreline with Derby at Smallbrook Stadium, Ryde.

Once again Vale controlled the match, but were behind at half time.
