A search is on to find Glasgow's top apprentice.
The Federation of Master Builders is offering a top prize of £1000 in its Apprentice of the Year competition which aims to reward talented young people who have a can-do attitude.
FMB Scotland director Grahame Barn said the award would put deserving trainees in the spotlight and also encourage others considering a career in one of the construction trades.
