MORE than 200 entrants from all over Britain will be on the start line

tomorrow for the gruelling Two Breweries Hill Race from Traquair House

near Innerleithen to the Broughton Brewery in Tweedsmuir. The twelfth

annual race will include ascents up to nearly 5000 feet along its

18-mile length.

THE organisers of the BUPA Great Caledonian Run are trying to make up

for the disappointment of the cancellation of the Princes Street Mile by

ensuring a top field for the Edinburgh event on Sunday, October 2.

The latest big names to be signed up are the former world marathon

champions Rosa Mota of Portugal and Douglas Wakiihuri of Kenya -- two of

the sport's all-time greats.
