STUDENTS on Strathclyde University's part-time law degree course --

the only one of its kind in Scotland -- have gained marks as high as

those studying full-time for the second year in a row. Professor Robert

Burgess, head of the law school, said: ''Last year's exams showed that

the part-timers could achieve results on a par with their full-time

counterparts, and these latest results have proved yet again the

part-time students' ability to cope with both study and a full-time

career.''
