AN RAF Sea King helicopter was sent to Glen Nevis near Fort William
last night to assist firemen and ambulancemen to rescue a 20-stone woman
with a broken ankle. She was on the banks of the River Nevis and the
ambulance and fire crews reported they were unable to carry her to the
ambulance. She was eventually taken to the local Belford Hospital.
