GARY Armstrong's revival at scrum half is to continue tomorrow

evening, writes Bill McMurtrie. Jed-Forest have included him in his old

international role in the team to meet Kelso in the Bank of Scotland

Border League game at Poynder Park.

Armstrong had declined to play scrum half this season. His reasoning

was that he needed a change in the outfield, but he reviewed that idea

after he had played so well at scrum half for the Scottish Districts

Select in victory against Auckland at Hawick on Sunday.

When Armstrong opted for the outfield he left a vacancy for Grant

Farquharson to return to Jed from Gala. Farquharson has reacted by

taking this weekend off to think about his future.
