THE former manager of Elgin City, Mr John Teasdale, is taking the
football club to an industrial tribunal. Mr Teasdale, who has played for
Wolves and Blackpool, was dismissed by the club earlier this year after
a new board of directors took control. He is now claiming he was
unfairly dismissed and the case will be heard at a tribunal in Inverness
next week. He was player-manager at Elgin when the club won the Highland
League in 1992-93. It was later stripped of the title amid fixture
rigging allegations.
