CARDINAL Thomas Winning left with the good wishes of other Christian,
Jewish, and Muslim faiths in Glasgow yesterday after his last public
engagement before his elevation in Rome at the weekend. He was attending
the opening of Scotland's first Inter-Faith Hospital Chaplaincy, opened
at the Southern General at a cost of #25,000.
