JOCKEY Neale Doughty has been given the green light to resume his

career after having spent the final eight weeks of the 1991-92 National

Hunt campaign on the injured list.

The Welshman, a popular rider in Scotland, will go straight into

action at Bangor's opening meeting of the season this weekend. Doughty

broke a rib when taking a crashing fall on Pyjamas at Southwell in

April.

''The fall aggravated some old injuries. My back and neck caused the

most problem this time and, on top of the broken rib, I was in agony for

several weeks.
