THE Queen and Duke of Edinburgh will attend a service of

reconciliation and remembrance in the German city of Dresden, bombed by

the RAF in 1945, Buckingham Palace announced yesterday.

Yesterday's announcement comes a month after the row over the Queen

Mother unveiling a statue commemorating the wartime Bomber Command

chief, Marshal of the Royal Air Force Sir Arthur Harris, which stands in

The Strand.
