Moray art student Nic Matthew, 23, with the water-ski he developed for disabled people during his postgraduate course at Aberdeen's Robert Gordon University. He has now applied for a patent and has the backing of the British Disabled Water-skiers' Association. It is hoped the ski will help paraplegic sports enthusiasts extend the distance they can jump and see them challenging for world records.
