As part of the exhibition commemorating the 700th anniversary of the Battle of Falkirk, Frank Agar (above) was commissioned by Historic Scotland to recreate the sword belonging to Sir John De Graeme of Dunstaff, who died in the battle and has been described as William Wallace's closest and dearest friend. The display, entitled The Graves of Heroes, begins today at Falkirk Tourist Information Centre, Glebe Street, Falkirk
