TOP scorer Adi Yussuf has urged his Oxford City teammates to maintain their high standards when they welcome Bradford Park Avenue to Marsh Lane in Vanarama Conference North tomorrow.
City came away from Bradford with a 5-0 victory when the two sides met last September, but Yussuf has warned not to expect a repeat performance this weekend.
“Football doesn’t work like that,” he said.
“Anyone can beat anyone, especially in this league, and you can’t disrespect any other teams.
“The manager was saying to us the other day they’ve won four of their last six games, they’ve got a new owner in and a completely new team since we last played them.”
City have only lost once in their last nine league matches, lifting them to within four points of the play-offs.

And Yussuf is confident that if they can maintain their impressive recent performance levels they can claim a top-five finish and put themselves in with a chance of winning promotion to the Conference Premier.
He added: “The manager has made it clear to us that’s the aim and it’s our jobs to go out and achieve that.
“It was never our aim at the start of the season, because obviously last season had been so poor, but we’re here now and we want to make the most of it.
“We’re at the stage where anything is possible, so we’re still fighting.
“There’s no reason why we can’t go on and do it if we all believe.”
