Didcot Town joint boss Ian Concannon hopes Jimmy Deabill’s arrival can help get them get back on track at Cinderford Town in Evo-Stik Southern League tomorrow.

The former Oxford City striker, 27, who has joined from Abingdon United, could make his debut as they bid to end a five-match winless run in Division 1 South & West.

“Jimmy gives us another dimension to our play,” said Concannon. “He’s big and strong, but can also play a bit and has played at a higher level.

“We’ve now got four strikers, so it puts a pressure on the other boys.”

Ankle injury victims Pablo Haysham and Andy Ballard face fitness tests.

North Leigh could be without Stuart Hole at home to Tiverton Town.

He is a doubt after tripping on a mat during an indoor training session and rolling an ankle, but boss Mark Gee says Jon Else can fill in.

He said: “When Stuart was away, Jon came in and did well, so we’re replacing a form player with another.”

Brian Bowles returns as they look to reduce the five-point gap to the play-offs.

Wantage Town are without Adam Doyle (knee) and Tai Hubert-Thomas (ill) away to AFC Totton.

Boss Daniel Barry said: “It’s important after a good performance (a 2-1 win at Fleet) that we continue that.”

John McMahon has returned to Chinnor.
