Leschea Guiste struck a hat-trick for Oxford Mail Girls League Under 11 League leaders Summertown Stars White as they won a tense top-two clash 4-3 at home to Oxford City.

Guiste’s treble came after Charlotte Evans had opened the scoring and although City fought back with goals from Grace Richards (2) and Lily Harries, they just fell short.

Charlbury saw off a late comeback attempt from Kidlington to claim a 3-2 away win.

The visitors took a three-goal lead thanks to Lula Blayney, Bella Wigzell and Annabel Jenkins strikes, but they were made to sweat as late efforts from Brooke Eagle and Grace Barrett set up a grandstand finish.

Anna Hamerow was the hero for Summertown Stars Red, scoring both of their goals in a 2-1 win at Wantage Town.

Hamerow’s opener was cancelled out by an Ella Rooke penalty for the hosts, but Stars ultimately claimed victory as Hamerow ran the full length of the pitch before slotting home the winner.

There were victories for the top two in the Under 15 League, with leaders Kidlington beating Carterton Town 7-0 at home.

Abi Haynes, Milly Simmonds and Lucy Durham netted a brace each with Amberley Vircavs also getting on the scoresheet.

Second-placed Benson United also continued their fine form with a 5-0 home triumph over Wantage Town.

Ellie Seares notched two goals, with Phoebe Parsons, Amy Loveridge and Emily Bailey also among the goals.

Clarke’s efforts put the visitors two goals up and despite pulling one back through Millie Hartwell, the home side were unable to find an equaliser.

Wantage Town were held to a goalless draw at Swindon Spitfires, while Carterton Town saw off Harwell and Hendred 3-1 with Ella Dalton (2) and Emma Hawkins getting the goals.

Chloe Antonen and Mia Thomson both netted twice as Kidlington Hawks won 6-1 at Launton, with Polly Hipkiss and Ceri Jesson also on target for the away side.

Didcot Casuals let slip a three-goal lead as they drew 4-4 at Oxford City in the Under 12 Red League.

Early goals from Fazah Khan (2) and Caitlin Taylor put the visitors firmly in control, but two strikes from Millie Collier either side of a Damini Bhagat effort,wiped out their advantage.

Casuals then took the lead once more as Khan completed her hat-trick, but Bhagat was on hand again to earn City a share of the spoils.

Blue League leaders Wantage Town needed a last-minute winner from Sophie Jones to hand them a 1-0 home victory over Kidlington.

The visitors came within minutes of securing their first point of the season, but it was cruelly snatched away as Jones pounced in the dying moments.

Second-placed Carterton Town maintained their perfect record with a 4-1 victory at Barton United, despite falling behind to a Chelsea Cox effort early in the second half.

The home outfit tired late in the match, allowing Town to run in four unopposed goals as Ellie Walecki struck twice and Lauren Warnes and Erin Nicholson also netted.

Hook Norton held on to claim their first clean sheet of the campaign with a 0-0 home draw against high-flying Stonesfield Strikers.
