OXFORD University Press went top of the Oxfordshire Senior League Premier Division following a 3-0 home win over struggling Launton Sports.

They led at half-time thanks to an own goal at a corner and two smart finishes after the break secured the points.

Neil Lockhart doubled the advantage when he lofted the ball into the top corner and Sam Wharton’s crisp strike completed the victory.

The result saw them leapfrog Mansfield Road, who lost 3-1 at Broughton & North Newington.
