Mansfield Road made it two wins from their opening two Premier Division games with a 4-1 victory at Bletchingdon in Oxfordshire Senior League.

The visitors were 3-0 up after just 15 minutes with two goals from Roger Gill and another from Luis McGillycuddy.

Bletchingdon rallied, with Simon Grossman missing a penalty before Todd Parker Hunt pulled a goal back, but McGillycuddy added a second.

Neil Lockhart scored twice as Oxford University Press beat Marston Saints 3-1, giving the home side the lead from a penalty.

Sean Hurcombe doubled the advantage before Ricky Goodenough pulled one back from the spot.

But Lockhart was on hand to make the points safe with his second of the game 15 minutes from time.

Launton Sports picked up their first win of the season with a 2-1 home victory over Horspath.

Mark Wickens headed the hosts in front and Mark Scanes capitalised on a defensive error to net the winner after Arron Leman had equalised.

In Division 2, Tom Sullivan scored two own goals as Charlton Res were beaten 6-2 at home to Oxford University Press Res.

The hosts led 2-1 at half-time, thanks to two goals from Chris Staker with James Humm keeping the visitors in touch.

Sullivan headed the first of his unusual double to level the scores shortly after the break and the visitors then ran riot with Josh Jelfs scoring two and Humm netting his second before Sullivan again headed into his own net in the final minute.

Adderbury Park Res rose to the top of the table as they won 3-1 at Garsington, a Daniel Butler brace and a goal from Chris Clark proving too much for the hosts, whose reply came from Kieren Smith.

Eynsham Res were crushed 10-0 at home to Mansfield Park Res, conceding seven first-half goals.

Matt Smith (4), Stuart Whigham (2), Nicholas John, Jamie Pryse, Pascal Coslas and Ed Mole scored.
