The mass clear out starts. Must admit I thought Melville could have been moved away from coachng and more into contracts etc which Lenagan refered to earlier in the year. Maybe he was offered that role but he rejected it.
He'll be on his way to Northampton to team up wit his old mucker CW. Let's hope he take's Lewis with him !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Andy Melville has left Oxford United after five years as part of the club's coaching staff.

The former defender, who won 65 caps for Wales, said he does not have another job in mind, but intends to assess his options after resigning.

Melville told the club's website: "I have worked with some tremendous people and it has been a privilege to work at the club.

“I now feel that the time is right to move on. I don’t have a specific job out there to go to but I would like the opportunity to take stock and see what is available."
