Murray Nichols netted the winner as Highfield Social Club lifted the Banbury & District Sunday Morning League's Ian Willoughby Cup with a 3-2 victory over Ashton Villa at Bicester Town.

The final saw two Bicester teams in opposition for the first time, and it was Highfield who opened the scoring through Wes Bone.

Dan Richardson equalised for Ashton with a great solo effort, and Gary Wickens put them ahead with a a superb free-kick.

But Highfield were back on level terms just before half- time, with Ben Foster on target.

And Nichols struck the winner from a tight angle midway through the second half.
