OXFORD MAIL GIRLS LEAGUE
THE top two will face off in the final of the Under 11 League Cup.
League leaders Tower Hill Vixens beat Rotherfield United 6-0 to set up an encounter with second-placed Oxford City, who were 2-0 winners over Carterton Town.
Vixens took the lead after just 58 seconds at home to Rotherfield and never looked back, adding three more before the break.
Milly Wilkinson and Georgia Smith helped themselves to two goals each, with Emma Bartlett and Fraya Muttock also scoring.
City overcame a strong Carterton side, finally breaking the deadlock after half-time through top scorer Molly Jones.
Jasmine Nassar then headed in a second for the home side.
Oxford City booked their place in the final of the Under 15 League Cup with an 8-3 home win over Kidlington.
Shelley Knight bagged a hat-trick for City, while Miriam Pritchard and Lily Hernandez scored two each and Lauren Page also netted.
Rosie McCabe, Emily Young and Casey Brennan scored consolations for Kidlington.
Benson United’s Under 14 League Cup campaign was agonisingly ended at the semi-final stage as they were beaten 2-0 at Swindon Spitfires, thanks to goals from Katie Donovan and Lucy Good-right.
Banbury United edged past Tower Hill Vixens to reach the final of the Under 13 League Cup.
The Puritans took the lead against the run of play through Becky Tuckey.
But after Isabelle Henthorn equalised for hosts Vixens, the match was taken to extra time and then penalties, with Banbury winning through 5-4 in the shoot-out.
They will face Stonesfield Strikers in the final after they beat Kidlington 3-2 on penalties following a 0-0 draw.
Oxford City set up a meeting with league rivals Crowmarsh in the final of the Under 12 League Cup as they beat Kidlington Harriers 3-1.
Lanaya Ward gave City an early lead, but they were pegged back when Polly Hipkiss slotted in an equaliser.
But two goals from Emily Green were enough to send the hosts through.
Summertown Stars White came from behind to beat Wantage Girls 3-1 in the semi-final of the Under 10 League Cup.
Rose Kent put the visitors in front early in the second half, but Stars replied with a brace from Leschea Guiste, who then turned provider for Ella Cutting to net the third.
