Winger Tom Winters could return to the starting line-up for Oxford City tonight as they travel to Gloucester City in Skrill North, writes MATTHEW BRUCE.

Winters, who has been a regular in the 1st XI this season, was left on the bench in Saturday’s 3-3 draw with Guiseley, but came on to set up City’s dramatic late equaliser.

“It’s amazing what sitting on the bench for 45 minutes can do,” said Ford.

“On Saturday I brought on Tom Winters, Viv Solomon-Otabor and Steve Basham and they all made an impact in the end. They all responded really well to being left out of the team.

“There will be other players on the bench at Gloucester and we need them to respond equally well because we have some big matches coming up and we need them all.”

Didcot Town are set to be unchanged as they travel to basement side Fleet Town in Calor League Division 1 South & West.

It comes after the Railwaymen beat promotion-chasing Cirencester Town 3-2 on Saturday, with Luke Carnell grabbing a last-minute winner.

Joint manager Ian Concannon said: “We just want to win every game possible and after Saturday I expect us to keep that going.”
