Nine-man Riverside pulled off a stunning 3-2 victory over Launton Sports to reach the final of the Oxfordshire Charity Cup.

They had goalkeeper Ryan Davies dismissed for handling outside the area in the first half.

And in the final period Colin Ryan collected a second yellow and was given his marching orders for dissent.

But incredibly they came from behind to triumph.

Liam O’Callaghan gave Riverside the lead, but Colin Dawe levelled before putting Launton ahead.

However, the nine fought back superbly and substitute Lance Shaw squared it up before Jerome McCalmon banged in the winner.

Riverside will now meet Bletchingdon in the final after their 4-2 sudden-death penalties success over Mansfield Road.

Goalkeeper Nick Lacey was the Bletchingdon shoot-out hero saving two Mansfield Road spot-kicks after the game had finished 2-2.

Adam Wells and Danny Trinder seemed to have done enough to see Bletchingdon home.

However, Mark Gaul netted for the visitors and four minutes into injury time Simon Dickie’s mis-hit effort forced the shoot-out with Lacey emerging the hero.

l Yarnton pipped Oakley United Res 5-4 on penalties to progress in the Ivor Gubbins Cup after the sides were locked at following extra time.
