Mollie Dyer hit a sparkling hat-trick in Didcot Girls’ School’s 4-0 win at Wallingford in the ESFA Girls’ Under 14 PlayStation Schools’ Cup quarter-final.
Dyer slotted home Didcot’s opener, before doubling their lead ahead of half-time after latching on to a pass from Katie Miller.
Freeleigh Parnell finished well in a one-on-one situation with the Wallingford goalkeeper after the break, and Dyer completed her hat-trick with a solo effort.
Now Didcot, who were national under 13 champions last season, are away to Highworth, from Ashford, Kent, in the semi-finals on a date to be arranged.
Kibworth (Leicestershire) await the winners following a dramatic 5-4 penalty shoot-out win over Ormskirk as their semi-final finished 1-1 after extra time.
