Oxford City won the Under 16 County Cup for a third consecutive season with an emphatic 6-0 success against Chinnor at Thame United. City started the strongest and a number of excellent chances went begging.

However, they took the lead on 11 minutes, as Shelley Knight turned in Lara Althorp’s corner from close range.

City continued to dominate and on 26 minutes an outstanding piece of brilliance gave them a two goal cushion.

Lily Hernandez went past two defenders, and then fired in an unstoppable shot into the top corner.

The game was wrapped up within nine minutes of the second half as City added a further three goals.

Miriam Pritchard’s excellent shot from the edge of the box hit a post and rebounded out to Hernandez, who calmly slotted home.

Hernandez completed her hat-trick and Shelley Knight scored a screamer, her second of the game.

City then rotated the team and they went 6-0 up on 67 minutes, as Lauren Page slotted home from close range to finish off the scoring.

Kidlington took the honours at Under 14 level with a 5-0 triumph over Bloxham at the same venue.

Abi Haynes (2), Lucy Durham (2) and Milly Simmons got their goals as they deseverdly collected the silverware.

Meanwhile, in the Oxford Mail Girls League, Kidlington’s Eva Wallace earned her side a point from their 1-1 Under 13 Bundesliga draw at Vale Reds. Milly Crombie scored for Reds.

Tabitha Ward was on the mark for Blisworth Vixens but they lost 4-1 to MK City Sapphires who were inspired by Eliza Sunderland (3) and Casey Prinzi.

Barton Utd saw off the challenge of Apsley Guise 3-1 in Primeira Liga.

Ellie Gomersall, Xantia Day and Kamela Gayle got their goals. Jodie Worrell notched for the home side.

Croughton Diamonds took the honours in La Liga, edging out Tower Hill Vixens 4-3.

Isabelle Henthorn (2) and Marianne Hauer netted, but Croughton won it through Evie Hawkins (2), Fay Marshall Hopkins and Emma Marshall.

Shelley Knight (2) and Lara Althorp saw Oxford City to a 3-1 success over Highworth in the under 15s. Mia Mugford replied.

Wantage Under 12s had Ella Badger (3) and Isabella Ottley to thank for their 4-0 win at Kidlington Hawks. Millie Hartwell (2) and Leah Jordan-Cooper saw Tower Hill Vixens home in the under 12s.

They defeated Kidlington Harriers 2-1, who responded via Lauren Smith.

Ruby Colleton (3) and Hope Bee scored as Carterton Town Under 11s won 4-0 against Rotherfield United.

They then completed a double over the same side with a 1-0 victory in a second match thanks to Sophie Masters.

Rachel Appleton grabbed a treble for Stonesfield Strikers in their 3-1 triumph at Quarry Rovers for whom Amy Gillett netted.

Anna Hamerow, Lulu von Pander and an own goal gave Summertown Stars Reds bragging rights over Summertown Stars Whites.

Leschea Guiste replied in the Under 10 clash.
