West Witney moved into pole position in the Witney & District FA Premier Division with a 6-1 home win against Hailey.

A four goal blitz in the first half all but secured the win with Tony McLemen (2), Dave Craig, Kev Lewis, Ian Sparkes and Chris Hirons all getting on the score sheet.

Luke Manning scored the consolation for the visitors.

Ducklington closed the gap on Chipping Norton Town to six points after a 3-1 win over their visitors, dropping them to second place in the process.

Adam Clarke, Ryan Colleton and Damon Tolley scored the goals, as Michael Roberts got one back for Chippy.

Carterton Town A picked up all three points in a 3-1 win Chadlington.

Jack Turner and Martin Plumbridge scored for the hosts, but goals from Jason Lonsdale (2) and Mike Bott secured the win for Town.

Minster Lovell picked up only their second win of the season and kept their hopes of Premier Division survival alive in the processwith a surprise 3-2 win at Witney Royals.

Royals notched through Steve Brasier and a Gary Nicholson penalty but goals from Jim Hearn, Simon Thompson and Chris Smith scored ensure Minster took the points. Hanborough and Charlbury drew 3-3.

Dan Smith (2) and Neil Rose scored for the hosts with Craig McCallum on the scoresheet for the visitors Pavel Bronk scored the winner as second-placed Brize Norton closed the gap at the top of Division 1 with a 1-0 success at leaders Hailey Res.

The result reduced Hailey’s lead to three points.

Bourton Rovers slipped to third after going down 2-1 at home to Eynsham SSC.

David Gainford scored for the hosts, but a brace from John Ayres earned the points for the visitors.

Promotion chasing Carterton Pumas slipped to a 2-1 defeat against Spartan Rangers.

Frank Clarke and Rory Dunseath scored for the hosts, with Ryan Jones pulling one back for Pumas.

It’s tight at the foot of the table as well after basement boys Hanborough Res picked up their first success of the season with a 3-1 victory against Freeland.

Adi Williams found the net for Freeland, but Joey Burgess (2) and a Tom Kernaghan goal sealed the victory for Hanborough.

The success leaves them level with Freeland and keeps alive their slim hopes of avoiding relegation.

Kingham smashed five without reply past North Leigh in a 5-0 win over their hosts. Dom Hemming (2), Gareth Price, Kurtis Akins, and Daryll Middleton netted.

Division 2 leaders Combe continued their march to promotion with a 5-1 thrashing of Ducklington Res.

Chris Betreen banged in a hat-trick with Simon Gale and Sam Hibberd adding the others.

Pete Long scored the consolation for Ducklington.

Lee Keyes grab-bed a brace on his debut for Carterton Rangers in their 3-2 win over Witney Wanderers, moving them into second place in the process.

Ben Pearce added the other with And-rew Thompson and Bernie Crumlish replying for Wanderers.

FC Hollybush and Finstock ear-ned a point apiece in their 1-1 draw.

A Craig Isle penalty was the difference between the sides as Carterton Town B saw off Ducklington 1-0, maintaining their nine-point lead at the top of Division 3.

Spartan Rangers Res stay in second after a 6-0 thrashing of Kingham Res.

Ben Allen, Ben Hardcastle, Jason King and Gavin McCormack were among the scorers.

Minster Lovell Res went down 6-0 to Bampton United who leapfrogged them in the process. Jack Henry scored a hat-trick with Loyd Hancock and Ben Liddle sealed the rout.

Chipping Norton Res beat Brize Norton Res 3-1. Sam Philpott (2) and Keiran Watts were on target for Chippy with Richard Duffy replying.

Bourton Rovers Res lost 3-0 to Wootton for whom Charlie Bough (2) and Graham Berry scored.

Middle Barton secured a 4-2 win over bottom side Charlbury Town Res.

Steve Ball, Jacob Hancock scored for the hosts, but goals from Martin Kay (2), Paul Kay and Charlie Yeomans earned Middle Barton the points.

leaders Tower Hill were held to a 3-3 draw by FC Hollybush Res, temporarily halting their charge to the Division 4 title.

Jamie Goodwin gave the hosts the lead before goals from Kevin Davies, Doug Mulvihill and a Dean Spivey strike put Hollybush 3-1 ahead.

Tower Hill levelled the scores with goals from Jesse Lawrence and Luke James but despite constant pressure couldn’t find a way past the visitors defence for the winner.

A Frank Webb double was enough to give Corinthians a 2-1 win over Wootton Res with Paul Biggam scoring for the hosts. Corinthians remain 11 points clear in second after the win.

Eynsham SSC Res and Wychwood Forest drew 2-2. Kev Webb and Darren Mobey scored for the hosts with Ben Powell and Dwaine Knight finding the back of the net for Wychwood.
