7:00am Monday 3rd February 2014

James Foster pulled off a brilliant late save as Didcot held on for a thrilling draw in Calor League Division 1 South & West at the Draycott Engineering Loop Meadow Stadium.

With the sides locked at 2-2 with only 11 minutes left, Tom Knighton had the chance to win it for the visitors, but Foster denied him with a superb, instinctive stop.

Didcot started the stronger with Germaine Ofori denied by Sam Alexander in the visitors goal.

Alexander then made a double save, again denying Ofori, before keeping out John Mills’s follow-up shot.

After 15 minutes, Tom Knighton fired Bridgwater in front with a cool finish past James Foster.

Didcot turned up the pressurewith Luke Carnell and Josh Dutton-Black had shots cleared off the line.

And they levelled after the break when they won a free-kick and Matthew Woodley curled a spectacular effort around the wall and into the top corner from just outside the area.

Four minutes later, Didcot took the lead. Alexander saved a Dutton-Black shot, but Mills put in the rebound.

Karim Rendall levelled and Knigh-ton should have won it for the visitors, but Foster performed his heroics to earn Didcot a point.
