Didcot Town lost to Shortwood for the third time this season as they went down 3-2 in Division 1 South & West of the Calor League last night.
They fell behind to Ross Langworthy’s third-minute strike, but a superb goal from John Mills made it 1-1.
Six minutes later, poor defending allowed Langworthy the chance to make it 2-1.
Didcot were unlucky not to get a penalty when James Coates handled in the area, and moments later Duncan Culley add a third for Shortwood.
Luke Carnell grabbed a late consolation for Didcot when he tapped home from close range in stoppage time.
North Leigh’s Division 1 South & West fixture against Fleet and Oxford City’s Oxfordshire Senior Cup quarter-final against Banbury were postponed because of waterlogging.
